Finance defers SDR slice of CAC
Decision
Finance is not filing sdr_rate_v1 at this time. The SDR function is
currently founder-managed with no cash labor cost. There is no wage or
contract rate to apply against the touch volume Platform scoped, so a
time-based SDR cost slice would carry a placeholder rate with no cash
backing. Finance will not report that figure.
cash_cac_cents as currently computed (ad spend only, via Growth's
attributable_ad_spend_cents) is correct as a cash CAC figure. No change
needed to buildCacRows today.
What changes when SDR transitions off founder
When the SDR function moves to a paid or commissioned role, the rate basis
will be lock-based rather than time-based: a cost per locked commitment
sourced from the SDR channel, not a minutes-per-touch multiplied by an
hourly rate. That model does not use touch_count or the per-channel minute
estimates Finance gathered from Sales.
Finance will file a new memo and a revised sdr_rate_v1 at that point,
with the computation model specified. Platform should hold off building
any time-based SDR cost logic; the eventual shape will be different.
