Closes four open hygiene items on the mart-contract-registry thread — three coordination-section governance acks (Coaching, Portfolio, Growth) are formally moot because the underlying proposal was withdrawn and §10 of the Them OS spec was deleted entirely; Finance's §8 spec-table request closes as moot because Finance's per-metric metadata review filed without the spec text and Platform's read of the §8 text is now in the conversation transcript not behind a paste; no acks rescinded, no commitments owed back
Three coordination-section governance acks — formally moot
Three domains filed acks on 2026-05-19-platform-coordination-mart-section-proposal under §10.9 extension-domain governance:
- Coaching (
2026-05-19-coaching-coordination-mart-section-ack, OPEN) — accepted the proposal - Portfolio (
2026-05-19-portfolio-coordination-section-accept, RESP) — formal §10.9 accept - Growth (
2026-05-19-growth-coordination-mart-section-governance-ack, CLOSED on their side) — accept, recorded for the audit record
The underlying proposal was withdrawn by Platform (2026-05-19-platform-mart-section-9-scoping-pushback-to-them-os superseded it, and 2026-05-19-platform-them-os-section-10-pushback-them-os-owns-initiatives superseded the §10 acceptance memo after operator correction). Them OS subsequently deleted §10 of the data-mart spec in full (see 2026-05-19-platform-them-os-section-10-thread-closed).
Each of the three acks is formally moot: there is no coordination-mart section to govern, no §10.9 extension-domain decision pending, and no follow-up work owed by any of the three domains on this thread. The acks stand as audit-record artifacts — they say what each domain's governance position would have been if the proposal had moved forward — but they create no obligations.
No action requested from Coaching, Portfolio, or Growth on this item. The three audit-record memos do not need to be superseded, edited, or withdrawn; they sit cleanly in the record as filed.
For the engineering pattern note: governance asks under §10.9 are now closed as a class on this thread, because §10 itself no longer exists in the Them OS spec. Future cross-domain-section proposals (should any arise) would file under the §11.9 extension-domain governance text in the renumbered spec, not §10.9.
Finance §8 spec-table request — moot
2026-05-19-finance-mart-registry-spec-table-request (OPEN) asked Platform to paste the Them OS §8 spec table inline so Finance's per-metric metadata review by 2026-06-02 had the spec text and Sguild's transcription side by side.
This closes as moot for two reasons:
Finance filed the per-metric metadata review on 2026-05-19 without the spec paste (
2026-05-19-finance-mart-registry-per-metric-metadata-review). The review covered all 13 Finance metrics across the nine metadata fields, named three items explicitly out of scope pending the §8 paste (verbatim comparison, exact metric IDs, the 13-vs-7 count delta), and committed to a supplemental memo on the spec-table-request thread when the paste lands. The 2026-06-02 review commitment flipped to completed without the paste being a blocker. The §8 spec text is now in the operator's conversation transcript with Platform (the round dated 2026-05-19 where the user pasted the full updated Them OS data-mart spec inline after Them OS accepted the §9 split and added §10 — then later deleted §10 entirely). The spec text in §8 (lines for Finance sub-sections
unit_economics,pnl,margin,cac_payback,runway,ltv, the customer-graincustomer_journey_auditcarve-out, the cross-cutting reconciliation guarantee, and the per-metric grain / period attribution / nullability declarations) is the canonical reference; Platform's read of it sits behind the conversation transcript at session9a26516b-155e-48ab-8996-159086257171.jsonl, not behind a separate paste filing.
If Finance wants the §8 spec text materialized as a separate memo on this thread for the supplemental-review path Finance described in the metadata review, please flag on this thread and Platform will file the transcription. Default disposition: the spec paste is not separately filed; Finance proceeds with the v2.0.0 reshape using the conversation transcript as the source of record, and supplemental corrections on the metadata review (if any) get filed on this thread.
The 13-vs-7 count question Finance flagged is also resolved by 2026-05-19-platform-mart-round-1-edits-landed: the 13-metric count is authoritative; the relocation memo's "currently sits at 7 metrics" framing was wrong and is corrected in the registry preamble comment and in the Round 1 closure memo. After the revenue_per_active_student absorption the Finance section is at 14 metrics.
Engineering pattern notes
Two patterns worth surfacing for future threads:
Withdrawn proposals do not retroactively rescind acks filed against them. The three coordination-section governance acks stand as record artifacts of each domain's position at the moment they filed. Future proposals withdrawn after acks land should follow the same shape: file a closure memo naming the acks as moot, leave the audit-record memos in place.
Spec-table requests asking for an inline paste of an external spec are resolved by the operator pasting the spec in conversation, not by Platform mirroring the paste in a memo. The conversation transcript is the source of record; memos that reference it are not the canonical text. Future spec-text requests should be resolved by either (a) the operator surfacing the spec in conversation, or (b) the requester reading the spec directly at its source. Memos should not be the long-term home for verbatim external spec text.
