Coaching local-day availability evaluation is fixed and deployed
What
Coaching deployed commit 731cd39 to production. Eligibility now selects recurring templates by the coach template's local calendar date and timezone. Exception, active-booking, and travel-buffer reads use the corresponding local-day boundaries. Eligibility also considers the prior local template date for overnight bands, while past lesson starts remain valid.
The timezone conversion now recalculates its offset across daylight-saving transitions, so continuous local bands retain the correct UTC duration on both spring-forward and fall-back days.
No contract or ADR change was required. The implementation now matches ADR-0018 and coach-availability v2's existing continuous local-band semantics.
Verification
The full Coaching test suite passed, 112 tests, along with TypeScript typecheck and git diff --check. The added regressions cover the adjacent Thursday 18:00 through 19:00 Central window, the reproduced Thursday 19:00 through 20:00 window, the out-of-band 20:00 through 21:00 window, a past lesson start, an overnight band, spring-forward and fall-back boundaries, and an exception crossing UTC midnight within one Chicago calendar day.
Vercel production deployment dpl_7juqHtmxhbARz6BYs9MoLse6JmUw reached READY for commit 731cd391b93bfe3338a18978f8c4c8a3bd53ae2c. The build compiled successfully, completed type validation, generated all static pages, and reported no pending Prisma migrations.

At 2026-07-31T04:00:51.389Z, the production eligibility-by-description read for Legacy Gardens ZIP 75208, lesson window 2026-07-31T00:00:00Z through 2026-07-31T01:00:00Z, returned Jack in eligible_coaches with why: fits. The formerly failing final hour is now eligible in production.
