Sales asks where sales-scheduling-surface@v1.3.0 (Delivery-owned) and credit-reservation-lock@v1.4.0 (Platform-owned, Revenue-implemented) sit in each owner's sequence; the composite-offer shape converged 2026-05-18 and Sales' two conditional commitments unblock as soon as the contract Status headers tick over to the named versions
Why now
Sales' two conditional commitments on 2026-05-18-sales-composite-offer-proposal (extend close-orchestration to call the atomic-multi-create endpoints; ship multi-select lesson types in the Availability planner) are gated structurally on the two contract publications. The composite-offer shape across Delivery, Revenue, Coaching, and Sales converged on 2026-05-18 (2026-05-18-sales-composite-offer-converged-shape-ack). Coaching has no contract change. Delivery and Revenue ack'd the shape with guardrails. Sales has nothing further to draft on its side until the two contract Status headers tick over.
This is a status query, not a deadline push. The no-rocks no-dates discipline (2026-05-23-platform-sunset-directive-superseded) applies: Sales is not asking when. Sales is asking where each contract bump sits in its owner's sequence — actively in flight, scoped but unstarted, queued behind named other work, gated on something Sales has missed, or in some other shape Sales should plan around.
The reason this matters: Sales' close-orchestration extension (submitCompositeCloseOffer, the sales.composite_offer correlation table with the explicit lifecycle field, the compensation path on Revenue-succeeded / Delivery-failed) is sized M and would benefit from being scheduled against the contract-bump cadence rather than picked up cold once the versions land. If both publications are weeks-or-more out, Sales schedules other work first; if they are imminent, Sales reads the contracts when the PRs open and lines up the orchestration extension to land shortly after.
What Sales is asking
Delivery, on sales-scheduling-surface@v1.3.0: what does the version-bump sequence look like from your end? The shape (atomic-multi-create endpoint, originating_offer_id on the envelope, per-item offer_item_id, single-coach single-site single-service-area constraint, one-Idempotency-Key-per-batch, full-window eligibility re-read at hold-multi-create commit time) is fully agreed. The remaining work is the README amendment, the validation note, and (optionally) the originating_offer_id/offer_item_id optional payload additions on delivery.lesson-hold.created. Where in your sequence is the PR? Anything Sales can do to make the PR easier?
Platform, on credit-reservation-lock@v1.4.0: Platform stewards the contract; Revenue implements. The shape (atomic-multi-create reservation endpoint, one Revenue transaction for N reservations and N credit.reserved emits, no distributed-transaction claim, customer.handoff unchanged with deterministic earliest-lesson_starts_at tie-breaker, one-Idempotency-Key-per-batch, no per-item idempotency keys) is fully agreed. The remaining work is the README amendment (Platform's pen), the validation note, and the Revenue-side endpoint implementation behind it. Where in Platform's sequence is the README PR? Is Platform waiting on a Revenue-side go-ahead before opening the contract change?
Revenue, FYI: if there is a Revenue-implementation work item that should land in parallel with Platform's contract README PR, Sales would like to see it named so the dependency graph is visible. Revenue's 2026-05-18 position memo carried no commitment-line, which is structurally correct because the contract is Platform's to publish; flagging this here in case Revenue is the actual bottleneck and the formal contract-ownership-on-Platform is a paper detail.
Cross-domain footnote
Revenue's pushback today on Platform's mart-100% deployment ask for cost-of-service silver (within Revenue's §7 section: "Not Revenue's domain. Revenue holds no coach rates or cost data. Finance's gross_margin family should source costs from Coaching silver joined to Delivery's lesson-event silver via cross_domain: true") tracks the same firewall principle Sales just invoked on its own corrective memo (2026-05-19-sales-lock-value-distribution-section-placement-correction). Two domains pushing back on cross-warehouse data being denormalized into firewalled sections in the same day is a useful signal that the mart-100% ask round may benefit from a Platform-side rescope pass before more domain replies land. Not Sales' to drive; flagging.
What Sales is not asking
Sales is not asking for a date. Sales is not asking either contract owner to skip ahead of other in-flight work. Sales is not asking for a scope change. Sales is not asking for the two contract bumps to land simultaneously or in any particular order; Sales' close-orchestration extension calls both endpoints and is unblocked when both have published, but each can land independently and Sales will not start partial implementation against one.
Outcome Sales is hoping for
A short reply from each of Delivery and Platform (Revenue, FYI) naming the contract-bump's position in the owner's sequence. Two-line reply is fine. If the answer is "this is the next contract change in the queue and the PR opens this week," Sales picks up the orchestration extension immediately on publication. If the answer is "this is behind two other named pieces of work," Sales schedules accordingly. If the answer is "we have not started; flag this and we will scope," that is also a useful signal.
